OH SEES (Thee Oh Sees)
Synopsis: The Oh Sees are the latest incarnation of songwriter, singer and guitarist John Dwyer’s group. Dwyer, who hails from Providence, RI, has been active on the San Francisco indie scene since the late ’90s, working with several bands, including the Coachwhips, Pink & Brown, Yikes, Up Its Alive, and Swords & Sandals, among others, and he formed OCS initially as a vehicle for the experimental instrumentals he was producing in his home studio. In time, OCS morphed into an actual band and worked under the usual flurry of names, most notably as the Oh Sees or the Ohsees, and then as Thee Oh Sees and eventually just Oh Sees, featuring Dwyer on guitar and vocals, Brigid Dawson on vocals and tambourine, Petey Dammit on guitar, and Mike Shoun on drums.

Jason Pennycooke is a British multiple Olivier Award nominated and WhatsOnStage Award winning actor and choreographer and is one of the most decorated West End stars working today. Jason is currently playing the dual roles of ‘Marquis de Lafayette’ and ‘Thomas Jefferson’ in the West End production of the global sensation ‘Hamilton’, which began previews in December 2017, and for which he was nominated for the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Musical. Jason also played the role of ‘Jacob’ in the Menier Chocolate Factory production of ‘La Cage Au Folles’ which subsequently transferred to the West End at the Playhouse Theatre, and the role of ‘Bobby’ in the West End production of ‘Memphis’, both of which saw him nominated for the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Performance in a Supporting Role in a Musical.
