Russell Crowe and Brian May have also eaten at Surrey curry house
BRAD PITT and Angelina Jolie, currently living in Richmond, splashed out £3,000 ($5,000) on a meal at a nearby curry restaurant.
The Hollywood couple treated some close friends and two of their bodyguards to the spicy feast on Thursday (07.06.12) at a venue previously used by Russell Crowe, Brian May and Martin Johnson.
Apparently the engaged couple ordered plenty of bottles of champagne and wine at the Mogul restaurant in Bagshot to help bring them to the total.
They allegedly ordered almost every dish on the menu to sample - bringing the exact amount to £2,935, including a £733.75 tip.
A source told The Sun: ''The staff couldn't believe it when Brad and Angelina Jolie walked in - they'd been given no prior warning.
''There were five friends and two of their bodyguards there and they ordered a mountain of food and booze. It might seem hard to believe that they ran up a bill of nearly £3,000 at a normal curry house but they are really generous and extravagant.''
The only thing Brad and Angelina didn't do to leave the waiters happy was pose for a photo, unlike other celebrities who appear on the restaurant's YouTube channel.
The insider added: ''They said that they were just relaxing and would do one next time they came in.''
Curried caviar, tandoori lobster or kobe beef tikka - what would be on your wish list if you had £3,000 to spend on an Indian meal?
